The storage needs demanded by the cargo that circulates between nations is very diverse.
For this reason we offer a storage capacity of 200,000 square-feet in concrete warehouses
with totally insulated roofs. In addition to 67 ramps to perform simultaneously
loading and unloading maneuvers, besides to space for accommodate a total 250 trailer boxes.
Our warehouse staff is qualified to perform specialized loading and unloading maneuvers,
in accordance with our customers’ requirements and with 24/7 365 day a year availability
In order to perform physical merchandise inspection in our warehouse and to reduce import
operational process time, radiofrequency use was implemented in our warehouses.
This tool is highly supportive to our customers at the arrival of the goods to their warehouses.

GEMCO has a personalized system called TRADE® (by its initials in Spanish for Customs Traffic and Clearance)
which was developed by GEMCO’s own systems department. This allows us to keep the merchandise under control
since it is received in our warehouse and throughout the whole import/export operational process until arriving
to its destination. Also, this system allows us to make known to our customers the status of the shipments
in real time through our web site “www.gemcousa.com”. This information is available 24 hours a day.
Our offices are equipped with microwave links of 23Ghz, T1’s (2) for video and data, as well as 100 mbs of speed
network link, creating direct communication links between our customers and offices. In addition, remote terminals
are emulated by voice and data leased lines in order to reduce time and costs of import and export operations.
